The Palm Springs Certified Farmers Market is a year-round, State and County certified farmers market operated by the Palm Springs Cultural Center. Operating every Saturday, the market features farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, artisan cheeses, locally grown flowers, humanely raised meat, wild seafood, handmade baked goods, herbs, honey, nuts, eggs, olive oil, and chocolate, all sourced from California. The market moves seasonally: October through May it operates outdoors at the Palm Springs Cultural Center parking lot at 2300 E. Baristo Rd, drawing 2000-3000 shoppers weekly, and June through September it relocates indoors to the air-conditioned Palm Springs Pavilion at 401 S. Pavilion Way, welcoming 500-1000 customers weekly. Many farmers are small, family-run operations with a goal of at least 50 percent organic vendors. The market accepts EBT/WIC benefits and offers live music and a welcoming community atmosphere.
