About this event

Friday, October 9 – 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fayette Senior Services (FSS) – Peachtree City location at The Gathering Place, 203 McIntosh Trail: Joy begins where emotional wellness takes root, turning ordinary moments into meaningful opportunities to thrive! It isn’t something you stumble upon either, as it grows from the way you care for your mind, nurture your emotions, and choose to embrace life’s everyday moments. Sophia Gethers, CEO and Life Coach with The Freedom Zone, shares insight into what emotional wellness is, why it matters, and how simple daily habits can help build resilience, protect your peace, and create more room for happiness. Explore healthy ways to navigate difficult emotions, discover the powerful role gratitude plays in shaping your outlook, and identify the people, places, and experiences that bring genuine everyday joy into your life. Create a personal “Joy List” and reflect on simple yet meaningful questions that encourage a fresh perspective and offer lasting inspiration for cultivating a healthier, more balanced, and joy-filled life. This program is FREE but pre-registration is required. Call 770-461-0813 or email register@fayss.org (include name, phone number and event title) to register. FSS members and non-members welcome. www.Fayss.org.
