About this event
The Historic Lafayette Farmers Market is a longstanding outdoor market in downtown Lafayette that has operated for over 180 years. Running on Saturday mornings from early May through late October, the market spans two blocks along 5th Street between Main and Ferry Streets. Vendors offer a diverse selection including fresh produce grown by local farmers, artisan crafts, handmade baked goods, honey, plants, jewelry, and other locally-made products. The market attracts shoppers seeking quality locally-sourced goods and artisan creations. Weekly live music performances enhance the community gathering atmosphere. This is a true vendor/producer market with over 30 regular vendors and attendance of 60+ vendors on peak Saturdays, supporting the local food system and regional artisans.
