About this event
Clifford Thompson is not only a beautiful essayist, memoirist, and graphic novelist– but also the author of the remarkable new novel: Let Us Go Then, You and I . Join us to hear the author in conversation with beloved Baltimore poet Sylvia Jones! Let Us Go Then, You and I is a journey of self-examination and investigation that leads Theo from his hometown of Washington, DC to New York City, as he searches for the truth about his late friend. Pulitzer Prize finalist Lee Martin calls it a “delicately spun tale of identity and the attempt to alter the course of one’s life,” and “a gorgeous and courageous book,” adding, “I cared deeply about its protagonist.” A thoughtful novel, a great pairing of writers, tasty drinks from Bird in Hand – we are in for a treat!
