About this event

The Red Stick Farmers Market is a year-round Saturday farmers market in downtown Baton Rouge operated by BREADA, a nonprofit supporting local food systems since 1996. Over 50 member farmers and food producers sell fresh Louisiana-grown fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, artisan breads, baked goods, honey, cheese, plants, and specialty items. Vendors are producers-only, meaning all products are grown or made in Louisiana. The market operates 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Saturday and welcomes local farmers, fishers, and food artisans. Shoppers enjoy cooking demonstrations, direct connections with producers, and access to SNAP matching programs. The market sits on Main Street in downtown Baton Rouge's heart, adjacent to the indoor Main Street Market and the monthly Baton Rouge Arts Market.
