The Farmers Market at Maryland is a weekly producer-only farmers market held at the University of Maryland's Tawes Plaza. Operating Wednesdays from 11 AM to 3 PM, the market runs during spring (April-May) and fall (August-November) seasons. Vendors feature locally grown produce, meats, dairy, baked goods, preserves, and artisan products from producers within 250 miles of College Park. All farmers and vendors grow or make their own products. The market welcomes the campus community and general public and accepts SNAP and WIC benefits. This is an ideal venue for producers selling fresh, locally-made foods and handcrafted items to an engaged university audience.
