The Downtown Farmers Market is a weekly Saturday farmers market held at Vernon Worthen Park in the heart of downtown St. George. Operating year-round except January, the market features over 50 vendors from Washington and Iron Counties selling locally grown produce, pasture-raised meats, artisanal cheeses, baked goods, and handmade goods including jewelry, art, and crafts. Live music performances begin half an hour after market opening every Saturday. Summer hours run May through October from 8am to noon, while winter hours run November through April from 10am to 2pm. Founded in 2007, this free community event is family-friendly and pet-welcoming, drawing locals and visitors seeking farm-fresh ingredients and artisan products. The park offers shade under mature trees and is within walking distance of downtown galleries, shops, and cafes.
