The Kentuck Festival of the Arts is a nationally recognized annual juried art festival held the third weekend of October. The 55th edition will feature over 270 contemporary and traditional craft artists exhibiting original work across pottery, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood, metal, printmaking, and other mediums. The festival attracts thousands of visitors and is ranked among the top five classic and contemporary craft shows in the nation. Artists operate vendor booths throughout the festival grounds where they sell original artwork directly to buyers. The event also features live music, storytelling, art demonstrations, interactive children's activities, food vendors, and craft beverages. Artist applications open March 1 and close June 1 annually, with early bird application fees of $35 before May 15. The festival operates on a flat booth rate with no commissions, allowing artists to retain full sales revenue.
