Registration is now open for YouthCONVO 2026! Please encourage youth of your parish in grades 8-12 to register as soon as possible! YouthCONVO will run alongside the 152nd Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark (November 12-14) at the Hilton in Parsippany, New Jersey. Our theme this year comes from Micah 6:8b, “Do justice and love mercy and walk humbly with your God,” which dovetails with the Convention theme, “Known by God’s love, mercy, & justice.” While the YouthCONVO schedule is still being finalized, participants should plan to arrive on Thursday (11/12) by 5:30 PM, and remain until at least 3:30 PM on Saturday (11/14). If a youth cannot stay at the entire event they should not register for the YouthCONVO. Over the weekend there will be opportunities for youth to engage in learning about our faith tradition and polity, conversations with leaders on living out their faith in the world, worship with folks from across the diocese, chances to make connections with other Episcopal youth, and of course LOTS OF FUN! Cost is $100 per person which includes food, lodging, and activities (scholarships are available). If needed, following the event, the diocese can issue a letter for excused religious absence from school on Friday, November 13).
