About this event
The Davis Square Farmers Market is a long-running weekly farmers market located in Somerville's municipal parking lot adjacent to Davis Square Plaza. The market features over two dozen Massachusetts farmers and food producers offering fresh local produce, farm-raised meats and proteins, artisan cheeses, baked goods, ready-to-eat meals, and other locally made products. The market runs Wednesday afternoons from May through late November, providing a vibrant community gathering spot with merchant vendor opportunities. The market accepts multiple payment methods including cash, cards, WIC/Senior coupons, EBT cards, and offers a weekly $15 SNAP match program to increase affordability for low-income shoppers. The location near American Flatbread and Davis Square's commercial hub attracts consistent foot traffic from residents and workers in the area.
