Join fellow Museum members and art lovers for lively discussion as we talk about Maggie O’Farrell’s The Marriage Portrait . Set in Renaissance Italy, this novel follows Lucrezia de’ Medici, a young duchess thrust into an arranged marriage after her sister’s death and sent to an unfamiliar court ruled by the enigmatic Duke Alfonso. As pressure mounts for her to produce an heir, Lucrezia must navigate intrigue, power, and danger while fighting to secure her own future. Coffee and light snacks will be served.
