Registration Required: Students must register through Paws for a Cause to participate. Register on Paws for a Cause Spend your Saturday serving, connecting, and helping create a meaningful experience for young leaders from across Georgia! Join the Office of Leadership & Service for a GSU Service Day at the 26th Annual Youth Leadership Conference, hosted by the Latin American Association (LAA) on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Oglethorpe University. The Youth Leadership Conference brings together young students from across Georgia for a day centered on leadership, learning, culture, and community. As a GSU volunteer, you’ll be part of the team helping make that experience happen. Whether you’re welcoming participants, helping with registration, supporting activities, assisting with food distribution, or jumping in wherever you’re needed, your service will help create a space where young people can connect, learn, and see themselves as leaders. No previous volunteer experience is required. Just bring your energy, your Panther spirit, and your willingness to serve! What will I do? You do not need to select a volunteer role in advance. Once we arrive, GSU volunteers will be divided into groups based on the needs of the conference. Service may include: Event setup Registration Food distribution Participant support Conference activities Other service needs throughout the morning What does the day look like? 8:00 AM — Depart GSU9:00 AM — Arrive at Oglethorpe University and begin service9:00 AM–12:30 PM — Volunteer at the 26th Annual Youth Leadership Conference12:30 PM — Depart Oglethorpe University1:30 PM — Return to GSU Event Details Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026Location: Oglethorpe UniversityWho: Georgia State University studentsFull GSU Service Day: 8:00 AM–1:30 PMTransportation: Transportation to and from the conference will be provided. Students should plan to participate for the full 8:00 AM–1:30 PM experience. Additional information about the GSU meeting location, transportation, and day-of instructions will be sent to registered students before the event. Come spend the morning in service, meet other Panthers, and help support the next generation of young leaders. Space is limited. Registration is required.
