About this event

Wurstfest is a 10-day annual celebration in New Braunfels held in November that honors German heritage and culture. The festival features dozens of vendor booths selling authentic German sausages, traditional foods like potato pancakes, schnitzel, and pretzels, as well as craft booths offering local goods and merchandise. Visitors enjoy live polka and traditional German music, dancing, carnival rides, and games throughout the festival grounds located near the Comal River. The event attracts thousands of attendees annually and provides significant fundraising opportunities for local nonprofits, civic organizations, schools, and community groups that operate food and retail booths. Vendors include both for-profit and nonprofit organizations serving food, beverages, craft items, and merchandise.
