About this event
The Maryland Christmas Show is a long-running arts and crafts fair held over two weekends in late November at the Frederick County Fairgrounds. The event features over 200 exhibitors across seven heated buildings, showcasing handmade goods including fine art, pottery, furniture, jewelry, clothing, textiles, glass, metal work, photography, printmaking, wood, apothecary items, specialty foods and beverages, wreaths, garlands, and Christmas ornaments. The show attracts 15,000 to 20,000 visitors seeking holiday shopping and handcrafted gifts from local and regional artisans. Completely handcrafted items made by exhibitors are required; commercial products are limited and must complement the arts and crafts focus. The event includes amenities like live music, Santa visits, food tastings, and a large food tent. Vendors should confirm they meet the juried arts and crafts standards and be prepared to participate in a professional, heated-building setting.
