The Ukiah Saturday CFM is a certified farmers market, the largest in Mendocino County, operating year-round on Saturdays at Alex Thomas Plaza. Vendors offer fresh local produce, seasonal fruits and vegetables, seafood, cheese, baked goods, prepared foods, and local crafts. The inland Ukiah valley climate provides ideal spring produce conditions May through June, with proliferating summer fruits and vegetables July through October. The market also draws coastal vendors year-round offering cool weather crops and fresh seafood. Featuring live music, educational events, and a welcoming community atmosphere, it serves as a gathering place for local farmers and community members. The market has been operating since 1977 and was voted number two farmers market in California by the American Farmland Trust.
