About this event
Join our Advocates branch for a workshop about one of the most iconic Filipino ingredients, Ube! We'll be learning about the history and cultural significance of Ube in the Philippines. We plan to educate and discuss the recent rise in global demand for purple yam (ube) and how Filipino farmers are working to keep up with the growing popularity. --- Event Details: https://lucommunity.luc.edu/rsvp?id=385316
