About this event
The Kendall Square Farmers Market is a thriving, vendor-driven seasonal market managed by Mass Farmers Markets, a non-profit with over 40 years of experience supporting locally grown food. Located in the Canal District near MIT and biotech facilities, the market features farmers, bakers, artisans, and specialty vendors selling fresh produce, seafood, meats, baked goods, artisan crafts, and prepared food. The market serves the innovation hub's workforce and surrounding community, accepting cash, cards, WIC, senior coupons, and EBT with a weekly $15 SNAP match benefit. The market also hosts free pop-ups including cooking demonstrations by local restaurant chefs and fitness classes, making it a community gathering space beyond shopping.
