The Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival is an annual family-oriented event celebrating the county's 19 historic covered bridges. The festival features a central hub with food vendors, craft vendors, live entertainment, parades, antique cars and tractors, kids activities, quilt shows, and demonstrations. Throughout Ashtabula County, additional activities occur at individual bridge locations where local nonprofits, community groups, and vendors operate booths selling food, crafts, and goods. The event attracts visitors who participate in a scenic self-guided driving tour of the bridges while enjoying the fall season.
