About this event
The students of Saint John Bosco and Saint Joseph High School are thrilled to present the Fall Theater production of "A Monster Calls" A powerful new adaptation from the bestselling novel by Patrick Ness "A Monster Calls" is brought to the stage to tell the stunning story of love, loss and courage anew. Conor has the same dream every night, ever since his mother first fell ill, ever since she started that treatments that don't quite seem to be working. But tonight is different. Tonight, when he wakes, there's a visitor at his window, a monster. It's ancient, elemental, a force of nature. And it wants the most dangerous thing of all from Conor. It wants the truth. The Guardian: Called it an "exhilarating production [that] has the physical inventiveness and ensemble cohesion and it successfully "blends adolescent reality with fairytale fantasy." Please note that there is NO performance on Friday, October 16.
