The night before Halloween, something spellbinding is brewing by the sea… From 4–6 PM, costumed kids can trick-or-treat their way through Ventura Harbor Village while a fleet of witches and warlocks takes to the water for the annual Witches Paddle. New this year, a Witches Night Market will take over the lawn with vendors, curious finds, and even more treats. Dress up the whole crew, bring a treat bag, and come see what’s brewing on the waterfront. Come in Costume Kids and adults are encouraged to dress up! Bring your own trick-or-treat bag; a limited number of extras will be available while supplies last. Need a last-minute finishing touch? Stop by Hats Unlimited or Lost in Socks for costume accessories. Trick-or-Treat by the Sea Kids can collect treats from participating Village shops, restaurants, and Witches Night Market vendors from 4–6 PM, while supplies last. Look for the witch hats with green twirling hair marking participating Village businesses: Andria’s Seafood Restaurant & Market Barefoot Boutique Baja Bay Surf N Taco Boba by the Sea Brophy Bros. More to Discover There’s plenty happening between treat stops: Spooky tunes with DJ Bennett Scarolers putting a frightfully fun twist on traditional caroling Magic tricks for the crowd Spot the Seaside Skeletons throughout the Village Halloween Hearse photo op with a Día de los Muertos display Live professional pumpkin carving Complimentary Halloween crafts and giant poster coloring Face painting, slime making & tropical bird encounters ($) NEW! Witches Night Market A special visiting Witches Night Market will pop up on the waterfront lawn with themed vendors, curious finds, and more candy for trick-or-treaters. Browse the market and add the lawn to your trick-or-treat route. Witches & Warlocks on the Water At 4 PM, the 8th Annual Ventura Harbor Witches Paddle takes to the harbor. Watch from the promenade as costumed witches and warlocks glide by on paddleboards, kayaks, and other small craft while trick-or-treating continues on land. Make an Evening of It Grab dinner, dessert, or drinks before or after the festivities, with waterfront restaurants, casual eats, and sweet stops throughout Ventura Harbor Village. Admission is free. Parking is $1 per hour or $10 for an all-day pass. Prefer to park for free? The Dolphin Lot at Safe Harbor Ventura Isle is just an easy, scenic 5-minute walk from the Village, and free street parking is also available in designated spots along Spinnaker Drive on a first come first serve basis.
