HEALING ART STUDIO - FOR TEENS & ADULTS First Wednesday or Sunday of the Month, 1-2p NEST is a free, one-hour program dedicated to mindful, judgment-free art making. Guided by licensed art therapist Emily Skelton, each session begins with a calming meditation, followed by a demonstration of that day’s unique art project. Mindfulness in both meditation and art helps us regulate emotions, reduce stress, and focus our attention. Each week’s project is a surprise, revealed at the start of class to invite openness and curiosity. This gentle uncertainty is part of the healing process, helping us meet ourselves where we are, embrace vulnerability, and discover growth through creativity. No art experience is needed. You’ll be supported every step of the way in a safe, welcoming space for exploration and self-expression. Developed under the direction of Emily Skelton, LMFT, ATR-BC (to learn more about Emily, please go to her website). Notes This is a free, drop in program intended for teens and adults only. Please do not bring small children. Preregister to reserve your space and please let us know if you will not be able to attend. No shows will be removed from future registrations.
