About this event
@ REGISTER For older adults living with a chronic condition, behaviors such as agitation, anxiety, resistance, or withdrawal may be a form of communication influenced by environment, emotions, or unmet needs. We may not be able to change the behaviors but we can change how we understand and respond to them. In this session, we will explore strategies for responding to behaviors with greater understanding, patience, and confidence. We will discuss how to develop activities that provide purpose, connection, and a sense of accomplishment. The Ask the Expert webinar series is an interactive educational experience that allows you to get answers to your most pressing questions about care.
