About this event
The Waco Downtown Farmers Market is a year-round Saturday farmers market operating from 9am to 1pm, with shortened summer hours of 9am to 12pm in July and August. Located at Bridge Street Plaza in downtown Waco, the market features local agricultural producers and artisan vendors from within 150 miles of the area. The market offers fresh produce, meats, prepared foods, artisan breads, and handmade goods. Live music and community programming accompany the shopping experience. The market accepts SNAP benefits with matching dollars on produce and WIC vouchers seasonally. Community space includes shaded green areas and picnic tables. The market attracts 1500-3000 visitors weekly and has hosted up to 80 vendors at special events. This established market has operated continuously since 2011 and supports local farmers and makers while serving as a community gathering space.
