About this event
Hecktman Family JCCs of Chicago, in partnership with the Melton School, present this 10-week course led by Rabbi Marianne Novak. Participants will explore major female figures of the Bible. Through classic and modern midrashic commentary, we meet more than a dozen biblical heroines, gaining multiple perspectives on their lives, relationships, and choices, and understanding their roles in Jewish history and literature. Meets Thursdays, Oct. 8-Dec. 17 (No class Nov. 26 – Thanksgiving) Questions? Contact Heather Way Kitzes, Senior Director of Community Engagment, at hwaykitzes@jccchicago.org.
