About this event
The Pocahontas County Farmers Market in Marlinton is a weekly vendor market held Saturdays year-round in the warmer months at Discovery Junction. The market features local farmers selling fresh produce, eggs, meat, baked goods, honey, jams, maple syrup, and grains alongside craft and art vendors offering handmade items. The market attracts both local residents and visitors seeking fresh regional products and community connection. Located in the heart of Marlinton, a scenic mountain town in Pocahontas County, the market operates during the peak season from May through October. The venue offers street and gravel parking and is wheelchair accessible. Additional market events occur at other county locations throughout the week, and Marlinton hosts special First Friday evening markets during summer months with live music and expanded hours at nearby shops.
