About this event
6-week virtual group | Tuesdays, Sept. 29–Nov. 3 | 7:30–8:45 PM CT Small group • Maximum 8 moms • Illinois residents Mothering a neurodivergent child can be deeply rewarding—and also uniquely demanding. Mothering Differently is a 6-week virtual group for moms who are carrying the emotional weight of parenting differently and want a space where they don’t have to explain, defend, or hold it all together. Led by clinical psychologist and author Dr. Angele Close, this small, supportive group focuses on the mom—not on fixing or changing her child. Together, we’ll explore the emotional load and isolation that can come with parenting a neurodivergent child, nervous-system regulation and co-regulation, self-compassion, perfectionism, the inner critic, people-pleasing, and the parts of us that work so hard to keep everything going. This is a place to feel understood, reconnect with yourself, and be with other moms who truly get it. Request a Spot
