As the seasons change and the year begins to wind down, take time to soften, release, and create space in the upper body. This all-levels workshop explores the neck, shoulders, and upper body through mindful yoga, gentle stretching, supportive strengthening, breathwork, and accessible myofascial techniques. You’ll learn simple practices to help cultivate greater mobility, stability, body awareness, and relaxation, along with practical techniques you can incorporate into your everyday routine. Come slow down, breathe, and reconnect with your body in the peaceful setting of the gardens. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Sarah Sawyer is a certified yoga instructor based in the Inland Empire and is the founder of The Yoga Stream yoga studio. Sarah has been practicing yoga for over 16 years and has led more than 1,000 yoga classes. She loves practicing yoga in nature as it helps bring mindfulness and awareness beyond oneself and creates connection and community. Please bring an outdoor friendly yoga mat, water, and an optional blanket or towel. Participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver form upon registration of the class.
