Sip and Paint Night with Super Paint Party · Walnut, CA
About this event
Join Garden Manager Walker Young us for a webinar exploring the design principles Ruth Bancroft used to create her iconic dry garden. We’ll look at how Ruth balanced bold plant forms, thoughtful spacing, texture, structure, and a desert-inspired aesthetic, while making practical choices around water, soil, and long-term plant health. Learn about how the horticultural team continues to carry out Ruth’s vision while innovating along the way. Participants will come away with ideas for applying Ruth’s approach to their own gardens. Please note: that this will be an online webinar with Curator Brian Kemble (offered via Zoom ) not a lecture at the Garden. After registration (see below), you will receive instructions and a Zoom link one day prior to the lecture. How it works: Register one person with one email at a time. If you would like to register multiple people, please register them each separately with separate emails. The webinar will be recorded and all registrants will receive a recording link via email within one business day. Once the recording is sent, you will have seven days to watch. After that time, the recording will expire. Access to the webinar recordings after the expiration date will be a charge of $20 (members)/$30 (non-members). Interested in signing up for the whole four-part webinar series and tours? Please register here . To sign-up for just this webinar please see ticket information below.
