As part of our Fitness in the Park series, instructor Mike Graves is expanding our class lineup with Taijiquan ( T’ai Chi Chuan) and Qigong (Chi Kung), the perfect way to prepare your mind and body before our popular monthly Community Sound Bath . The class will be held at the Joske Pavilion from 7:30am – 8:30am This beginner-friendly class introduces the principles and practice of Taijiquan (T’ai Chi Chuan), Qigong (Chi Kung), and traditional Chinese exercises. Through gentle, flowing movements, deep breathing, and mindful meditation, participants will learn foundational concepts, philosophy, movement patterns, and exercises that promote relaxation, improve balance and body mechanics, increase focus, and cultivate mindfulness. Together, these ancient practices encourage greater self-awareness, confidence, inner calm, and overall well-being.
