About this event
CHC’s monthly ADHD Parent Support Group is a welcoming space to share stories, ask questions, and feel heard – by people who’ve been there too. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis or just need a place to exhale, we are here for you. This group is guided by Lisa Shaw, LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting kids and families in a variety of settings. Lisa brings a trauma-informed, client-centered, and strengths-based approach to her work, helping parents feel empowered and supported. Her warm, thoughtful facilitation ensures conversations remain respectful, encouraging, and meaningful for everyone involved. What to expect: • A space for parents to share, connect, and reflect • Practical takeaways from others walking a similar path • A little more calm – and a lot more community You’ll leave each session with new insights, more compassion for yourself and your child, and a reminder that you’ve got a community behind you. You’ll leave each session with new insights, more compassion for yourself and your child, and a reminder that you’ve got a community behind you. Sessions are held on Zoom. **We’re so grateful to our generous donors who make it possible for CHC to offer parent support groups at no cost. If you’ve found value in this space and feel inspired to give, your support – at any level – helps us keep these resources free and available to the families who need them most.
