About this event
The Pittsfield Farmers Market is a teen-run, year-round farmers market located in downtown Pittsfield at the Pittsfield Common on First Street. The outdoor season runs on select Saturdays from May through October, offering fresh local vegetables, meats, cheeses, and baked goods from regional vendors. The market features live music, chef demonstrations, workshops, and children's activities, making it a community hub beyond shopping. Operated by Roots Rising, a nonprofit focused on empowering youth through food and farming, the market welcomes SNAP/EBT benefits. The market is a juried vendor market requiring applications reviewed by committee, with additional support available through a BIPOC Vendor Fund for qualifying applicants.
