The Downtown SLC Farmers Market is one of the nation's longest-running farmers markets, operating since 1992. The summer market at Pioneer Park draws thousands of shoppers weekly seeking fresh, local produce, grass-fed meats, dairy, honey, baked goods, and artisanal products from over 100 farms and ranches within 250 miles. The market also features local artisans and prepared foods. The downtown location attracts nearly 10,000 to 15,000 patrons per Saturday during peak season. A complementary winter market operates Saturdays mid-November through mid-April at a separate location, with over 75 vendors offering similar locally produced goods. The market strengthens community connections and supports small local farms and producers year-round.
