Add to Suitcase The Muddy Creek Oil Well is an award-winning restoration site of an antique oil well. The Bessemer Gas Engine and Marshall-Barr No. 19 oil well equipment is restored and open for visitors to hear and see the industry that powered this region. Volunteers from 3MJC bring history to life. So come out and see the Bessemer engine pump some Pennsylvania crude! Open 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM one Saturday a month: June 13, July 11, Aug 8, Sept 12, Oct 10, 2026. Open dates are dependent on volunteer availability and weather conditions. Made possible by 3MJC (Moraine, McConnells Mill, Jennings Commission). Located beyond the State Parks Region 2 office 195 Park Road, Prospect PA, (Old 422 off Route 528). Follow Signs.
