Morning Star School in Jacksonville will hold its annual Reach for the Stars Gala on Oct. 24. Morning Star serves K–12 students with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and mild intellectual disabilities, providing individualized support in partnership with parents, therapists, and medical providers to help each student reach his or her highest potential. The funds raised during the gala will help the school continue to serve students from diverse backgrounds across Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Nassau, and Flagler Counties regardless of religious affiliation, Morning Star is fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference and is the only special education school in the Diocese of St. Augustine. This event brings together our community to celebrate 70 years of Morning Star School. The cost to attend the event is $75 per person.
