Let’s Get Physical is a sexual education discussion group that allows lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) to access to information, discuss approaches to safer sex, and feel seen and validated in their sexual health and sexuality. Staff will ensure access to comprehensive sexual education and discussion in an atmosphere that is inclusive of their race, gender, sexuality, and ability. At its best, sexual education often excludes LGBTQ+ people, asexual individuals, polyamorous people, people with disabilities, and many other social groups who engage in relationships just a cisgender, heterosexual, and monogamous people do. People are often forced to navigate through uncharted waters, lack of media representation, and massive social stigma. All youth deserve education that empowers them to make healthy, informed decisions about their relationships and their bodies.
