Jay Eiser is a lifelong seeker of meaning in the ordinary and extraordinary. A Southern California native, in 1967 he left college, was drafted into the U.S. Army and deployed overseas. His year in Pleiku, Central Highlands of Vietnam, shaped his understanding of war, faith, and the resilient perseverance of the human spirit. Since returning, Eiser has built a life rooted in family, practicing law, volunteering, studying, reflecting, and writing. Through The Passing of It All – A Vietnam Memoir , he shares his story with candor, humor, and an unflinching honesty that speaks to anyone who has faced life’s trials then carried their lessons forward.
