About this event
Considering graduate school in education? This live virtual session is designed specifically for prospective students interested in Claremont Graduate University’s School of Educational Studies (SES). Explore our MA and PhD programs, including the MA in Education, the MA in Community-Engaged Education & Social Change, and our PhD in Education. You’ll get a clear view of how each program is structured, who it’s designed for, and the career pathways it supports. You’ll also learn what makes CGU distinct: a graduate-only, research-intensive university where small, discussion-based classes, close faculty mentorship, and an interdisciplinary ecosystem across The Claremont Colleges create a highly personalized academic experience with real-world impact. Delivered in a focused, high-impact format, the session walks you through what sets SES apart—from its commitment to educational justice to practical details like modality, time to degree, funding, and the admissions process. By the end, you’ll know where you fit, what your next step looks like, and how to move forward with confidence. Come curious. Leave with clarity.
