About this event
If you’re parenting a child or teen with anxiety, and feeling like you’re carrying it all alone – we’re here for you. CHC’s free monthly Anxiety Parent Support Group is a space to connect with other parents who truly understand what it’s like. It’s a place to talk openly, ask questions, and walk away feeling more grounded, supported, and less alone. The group is guided by Dr. Olivia McDonald, a Licensed Staff Psychologist at CHC who specializes in supporting children, teens, and caregivers facing emotional, developmental, and behavioral challenges. With advanced training in CBT, DBT, interpersonal therapy, attachment-based work, and play therapy, Olivia meets families where they are – bringing deep care and expertise to every session. What to expect: • A space for parents to share, connect, and reflect • Practical takeaways from others walking a similar path • A little more calm – and a lot more community You’ll leave each session with new insights, more compassion for yourself and your child, and a reminder that you’ve got a community behind you. Sessions are held on Zoom. **We’re so grateful to our generous donors who make it possible for CHC to offer parent support groups at no cost. If you’ve found value in this space and feel inspired to give, your support – at any level – helps us keep these resources free and available to the families who need them most.
