The Greenbelt Farmers Market is a producer-only farmers market operating year after year since 2008. Vendors offer produce, pasture-raised meats, sustainable seafood, soaps, ice cream, breads and baked goods, mushrooms, flowers, bedding plants, vegetable and herb plant starts, honey, coffee, wine, baked desserts, and prepared entrees and sides, both frozen and hot. Every product sold at GFM is grown or produced by the vendor within a 100-mile radius of Greenbelt or within the state of Maryland. Open Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm, from the 2nd Sunday in May to the Sunday before Thanksgiving, with closures on Labor Day and Thanksgiving weekends. The market operates at 25 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770, located in the parking lot behind the Greenbelt Municipal Building. Located at Roosevelt Center in Old Greenbelt, it draws local shoppers seeking fresh, regional farm products and artisan goods.
