About this event
The Touch of Vermont Holiday Gift Market is an annual artisan marketplace held in mid-November at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Montpelier. The event brings together approximately 40 to 45 Vermont craftspeople and makers selling handmade goods including ceramics, jewelry, textiles, specialty foods, spirits, herbal products, and home décor. The market is free and open to the public, making it an accessible venue for artisans to reach holiday shoppers seeking authentic local gifts. Vendors benefit from the event's established reputation, raffle drawings featuring donated products, and strong community support, with proceeds supporting charitable initiatives. The event typically runs from mid-morning through afternoon on a Saturday, drawing shoppers interested in supporting local artisans and acquiring unique, handcrafted holiday gifts.
