The Bridge City Gumbo Festival is a three-day family-friendly celebration held the second full weekend of October in Westwego, Louisiana. This established festival, held annually since 1967, showcases Louisiana culture through food, live music, and vendor opportunities. The festival features Louisiana cuisine including seafood gumbo, chicken-and-sausage gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and regional specialties.
