About this event

On Saturday, October 17 , kids and families are invited to collaborate on a magical “group poem” about Woodlands Garden. What secrets could the forest whisper in our ears if we kept quiet and really paid attention as we walked along the trail? Poet Stephen Wing invites kids and families to learn how to listen to what the forest has to say through the magical art of poetry. No special writing skills or experience needed! All ages welcome! This program is free and does not require registration – Walk-ins welcome! Join Woodlands Garden and local poet and nature enthusiast, Stephen Wing, for an exciting Woodland Explorers! On Saturday, October 17th from 10:30am – 12:30pm , join a fun opportunity to work together to create a poem about the beautiful forest at Woodlands. This program is free and open to families with children of all ages. Before or after the poetry “play-shop,” be sure to take a walk to admire the fairy houses scattered along the trails, each created with natural materials by fairies disguised as human-sized artists. With questions, contact Stephen at swing1027@gmail.com or our Program Coordinator at annie@woodlandsgarden.org
