This satellite event of the 2026 Milagro Central Eastside Muertos Celebration takes place at Nossa Familia Coffee 1633 SE 3rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97214 Join IDEAL PDX artist Marilyn Shawe for a presentation about the cultural significance and traditions of Día de Muertos. Marilyn designed and assembled Nossa Familia Coffee’s altar, entitled “De la Tierra a la Taza: Raíces, Café y Memoria” (From Earth to Cup: Roots, Coffee, and Memory), and she will share about her artistic inspirations and creative process.
