About this event
Art in the Park is the Grand Strand's premier outdoor art show and sale hosted by the Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild since 1972. The event takes place three times annually on one weekend each in April, October, and November at Valor Park in Market Common. Vendors sell original artwork and fine art crafts across mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, woodworking, glass, pottery, metal, jewelry, fabric, and stone. The juried show features artists from across the country, with booth spaces of 10 feet by 10 feet. The event runs Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free admission. This is an artist-run venue that provides direct connection between creators and buyers seeking unique handcrafted pieces in an upscale urban planned community setting.
