About this event
The Empire State Plaza Farmers Market is a year-round vendors market held weekly on Wednesdays. From May through October, the market operates outdoors on the main plaza at the Empire State Plaza in downtown Albany, featuring fresh produce, locally grown items, cheeses, baked goods, and cider from regional farms. All products are grown or made by the vendors themselves. The market serves state employees, downtown workers, and local residents seeking fresh, seasonal farm products. During winter months, November through April, the market moves indoors to the South Concourse for weather protection while maintaining the same Wednesday schedule and hours. The market is part of the New York State Fresh Connect program designed to improve nutrition access and support local farmers.
