About this event
, Housing counselors are often the first to hear when clients encounter questionable lending practices, potential discrimination, or mortgage fraud. Fair Lending Frontlines is an interactive workshop designed to help counselors recognize warning signs, respond appropriately, and better protect the consumers they serve. Through practical examples and real-world scenarios, participants will explore fair lending protections, common forms of discrimination and mortgage fraud, deceptive or predatory practices, documentation strategies, and referral and reporting resources. By the end of the session, counselors will be better equipped to Recognize, Respond, Refer, and Protect when concerns arise throughout the homebuying and mortgage process. $20 for non-members, FREE for members Add to calendar Google Calendar iCalendar Outlook 365 Outlook Live
