About this event
The REC Mobile Farmers Market at Worcester Senior Center is a fresh produce distribution stop operated by the Regional Environmental Council, a nonprofit food justice organization. The mobile market brings locally sourced seasonal fruits, vegetables, and value-added products like honey, maple syrup, eggs, jams, and prepared items from regional farms and food hubs. It serves seniors and community members seeking affordable, fresh local food with flexible payment options including SNAP, WIC, credit, and senior coupons. Located at an accessible community facility, the market operates weekly during the growing season and supports local farmers while expanding food access across Worcester neighborhoods.
