About this event
The Downtown Santa Cruz Farmers Market is the largest and longest-running farmers market in Santa Cruz County, operating year-round every Wednesday. Vendors sell organic produce, pasture-raised meats, eggs, dairy, sustainably-harvested seafood, artisan-made goods, and diverse prepared foods including ethnic cuisines. The market attracts a loyal local customer base shopping in the heart of downtown, one block from Pacific Avenue. This vibrant weekly gathering features live music and attracts both shopping customers and tourists. The market relocated in June 2025 to Cedar and Church Streets to make way for library construction. New vendor applications are accepted annually from January 1 to March 1 through managemymarket.com. SCCFM prioritizes sustainable and certified organic producers and artisan vendors sourcing from local growers.
