About this event
Every Sunday morning year-round, Gulf Shores comes alive with local vendors and shoppers at this weekly farmers market in Waterway Village. Operating from 9 AM to 2 PM, the market draws a steady crowd of residents and visitors looking for fresh, locally-sourced products and handmade goods. The Waterway Village location puts you right in the heart of Gulf Shores, making it easy for customers to stop by whether they're locals doing their weekly shopping or tourists exploring the area. You'll find a genuine mix of vendors here, which is what makes a farmers market like this work well. Local farmers bring seasonal produce and fresh items, while other vendors offer artisan goods, seafood, and handcrafted merchandise. Because the market runs year-round rather than just in peak summer months, your inventory needs shift with the seasons. Winter means hearty vegetables and preserved goods; spring and summer bring berries, fresh herbs, and peak produce variety. The Gulf Coast location also means seafood vendors are a natural fit, and shoppers expect quality local catches. The Sunday timing and waterfront village setting attract both committed weekly shoppers who know what to expect and casual browsers enjoying a weekend morning. Families, retirees, and tourists looking for authentic local products all show up. Since Waterway Village itself is a destination with other shops and dining, customers often make the market part of a larger outing. This foot traffic pattern means good repeat business potential if you establish a regular presence. If you sell produce, prepared foods, preserves, baked goods, seafood, jewelry, home goods, or other handcrafted items, this year-round market offers consistent vendor opportunities. The relaxed Sunday morning vibe and waterfront Alabama Gulf Coast setting create an environment where both practical shoppers and gift-buyers browse, giving you flexibility in what you bring to sell.
