About this event
Running weekly from early summer through late fall, this farmers market on South Hubbard Street in Horicon brings together local vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods, cheese, eggs, flowers, and more. The Wednesday evening time slot from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM makes it convenient for people to stop by after work or as part of their weekly routine. The market operates from June through October, hitting its stride during peak growing season when vendors have the most variety to offer. Horicon's farmers market attracts a mix of local shoppers looking for quality ingredients and specialty items they won't find at conventional grocery stores. You'll find produce growers selling seasonal vegetables and fruits, local bakers with fresh bread and pastries, cheese makers offering artisanal products, and farmers bringing eggs and other farm products directly to customers. Flower vendors typically set up as well, offering fresh arrangements and plants. Some vendors also bring handmade crafts and value-added products. The market accepts SNAP/EBT benefits, WIC vouchers, and Senior FMNP programs, making it accessible to a broad community base. Being a weekly farmers market in Dodge County, this event provides consistent foot traffic throughout the season rather than the one-time rush of larger festivals. Regular customers develop relationships with vendors and plan their weekly shopping around the market schedule. The summer and early fall timing means you're selling during peak season for most agricultural products, with the longest days and warmest weather drawing steady crowds. If you sell food, produce, baked goods, flowers, or crafted items with broad appeal, a weekly farmers market like this one offers reliable income potential and the chance to build a loyal customer base in the Horicon area.
